| Our group rode up highway 20 to the North Cascades National Park visitor’s center in Newhalem, WA. We enjoyed the short film about the park and the view from the deck out back. Then it was on to Winthrop for lunch, fuel and ice cream. They had freshly made waffle cones, yum. Half the group went on to Coulee Dam for the holiday weekend ride. The other half worked their way back over the 3 passes and down to Burlington. |
