BBQ and The Wall Ride Synopsis |
| Members from our Chapter 154 participated in the monthly BBQ at Skagit Powersports in Burlington, Washington. SPS is kind enough to supply the BBQ and food and we supply the labor and accept donations for our charities. This BBQ brought $150.31 which will go to the Feed The Children Foundation and The STAR Family Foundation. Both worthy organizations.
After the BBQ we gathered for a ride over the back roads on Highway 9 to Memorial Park in Bellingham, Washington where we paid our respects to The Wall. This exhibit was brought to Bellingham by the American Verteran's Traveling Tribute association. Along with The Wall were various other exhibits detailing and honoring some of the uncountable sacrifices and contributions made by our veterans. We simply can't thank our veterans enough and we won't forget them. After leaving The Wall some of us rode over to the southside of Bellingham where we enjoyed an establishment offering 24 different flavors of soft ice cream. Always a great end to a good day. We all had a safe and fun ride and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we hope you enjoy the photos below! |
